djib is a streaming server for media (MP3, Ogg vorbis, video, ..) files, with a web server frontend allowing the user to browse the collection of available files over the web. Links to the actual media files allow an HTTP aware media player (such as Windows Media Player, XMMS, WinAmp, FreeAmp, ..) to play the files.
Perhaps one of the most interesting features of djib is its ability to generate complex playlists, based on criterias such as its knowledge of what the user likes to listen to.
Written in Python, djib is extremely quick and easy to setup.
