[drraw-users] Help building my first template

My apologies for such a simple question, but I am a beginner on
'expressions' and I have not been able to find a simple guide or sample for
setting up a template.

I have drraw working and am building two different graphs for the first rrd
I created.

They are working great and I have had no difficulty in setting up the
different ds and gprints I want displayed

The rrd is:  /var/lib/cacti/rra/racsense_pdu_8.rrd

I would like to set up a template, and use it to create the graphs for my
second, and those to come, rrd;s

The second rrd is /var/lib/cacti/rra/geist_pdu_10.rrd

Can someone please help me with (point me to) a set of 101 instructions for
setting up my first template (I have spent hours searching for a base
example)

I have opened the working graph and saved it as a template - but I get no
results when I try and view

 Do I need to add something like "regexp' to the graph first?

What should I put in the 4 columns under setting on the dit template page

This is what I have so far

Template name:  'Energy Graphs"
Base Regular Expression: '/var/lib/cacti/rra/.rrd'
Selection regular Expression: $1
The last col has the name of my rrd in it:  I have left this blank

Well, clearly this is wrong and I am missing something  ....
